Kalani Tipon – Hilo Weightlifter and Kanaka Maoli Visits Ku.

It’s always a good time to sit down and talk stories with people who are like minded and passionate about the physical culture and proud of being a Hawaiian.

Big mahalo to Kalani from Hilo,Hawaii, an uprising weightlifter in Hawaii who is passionate about exercise, being a Kanaka Maoli, and enjoying the process of letting go of expectations and embracing his own mana, for coming by Ku Performance Hawaii  the morning of his weightlifting meet.

We dove into many different topics that I feel many of you can relate to.  We talk about Native Hawaiian identity, letting go of expectations, and taking responsibility of our choices and actions.  It just shows that there much more to this Hawaiian than just weightlifting.  H shows he’s on a mission to perpetuate the culture in his own unique way.
