Everyone planks. But just holding the normal plank can get boring. After awhile of being told to do planks, you may wonder, “Wow, that’s original,” or “I hate planks.”
Well, you should be doing planks. Not because it’s going to give you a flat stomach with a six pack. No, that’s all diet. Nor should you be trying to do them for 5 to 10 minutes – although impressive – you could be using your time much more wisely.
After you can hold a plank for 30 – 60 seconds with solid form, then you are good. This means you can move on to other plank variations because you have earned them.
