Poem: Shadows Among The Walls

Koʻolau fades to ʻeleʻele
As Ulumano sends a deep chill
in the abyss of pō.
Shadows among the walls
become memories.

ʻĀupuakea gently kisses my cheeks,
she escorts me away.

Farewell to what could have been
Aloha to what will be.
