029: No Be Shame. Embrace Your Strengths and Story

the ku project aipa

This single tasking friday, we dive into what it means to overcome the feeling of being shame of who you are when others try to make you feel unworthy.

In Hawaii there is a tug-of-war between who’s more Hawaiian and what it means to be Hawaiian.   If you find yourself being shame of being lesser Hawaiian, the person who is doing the shaming is unsure of who they are.

Be You. Be Kū. Continue to accentuate your strengths because that will only make the world you live in even stronger.

Strength Quote:

‘To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.’
