KU FLOW: Spinal Decompression Drill

There are many ways our spine is placed under stressed which causes compression of the spine. A compressed spine can lead to back pain, bad posture as well as bad movement patterns which can increase your chances of injury and continual chronic pain. Basically creates a whole chain reaction.

Studies have shown that 72% of Americans will use pain medication to reduce back pain symptoms which basically just puts a band-aid on the problem rather than fixing it.

Proper exercise and movement as well as bodywork (massage, cupping, acupuncture, etc.) can be more effective with a holistic approach. Of course, I’m not saying that if you suffer from back pain you shouldn’t take pain medication, I’m not a doctor.

What I’m saying is that before you need to start taking any medication or experience back pain, make sure you take preventative practices.

In the video below, I share a simple KU FLOW with an emphasis on spinal decompression.

There’s no sets or reps for this Ku Flow. Only the practice of movement. The best way to approach this Ku Flow is to practice each movement on it’s own before combining them all together.

As you get more used to the movements, then you can begin to stream them together as you feel fit. Remember, paralysis by analysis. We need to stop thinking so much and begin feeling more.
