Your breath is everything.

Your breath can dictate your emotions.  You are told to slow down your breath to relax and when you become frustrated or mad, your breath begins to speed up.

Hā, in Hawaiian means to breathe, exhale.

During the honi, polynesian greeting, two people greet each other by pressing noses and inhaling at the same time.  This represents the exchange of Hā – the breath of life or mana – between two people.

When I speak about embracing your Hā, I am talking about your relationship and spiritual exchange with the present moment.  In a time where we are constantly connected and surrounded by distractions, it’s important to take a step back, pump the brakes, and embrace your .

Your spiritual connection with the present moment and gratitude for the ultimate gift of life – Hā.

Lately, I’ve been incorporating Hā into movement that I shared in Mana Flows.  Your breath is the cadence of your spirit.

I used the Mana Flows to warm up for training, become more mindful, and cool down from a long day of work and training.  The main dictator to what I want to accomplish with the Mana Flow is my breath, or .

You can find me moving at a steady smooth pace flowing through positions or find me sitting down in a quiet space.  As long as you embrace your Hā you will regain connect with your true spirit and everything else around you.

Your mana begins to accumulate in order to fully express yourself.
