The Kū Project promotes an active lifestyle in Hawaii and is heavily influenced by sports, fitness and strength training, and most importantly the Hawaiian culture. We are dedicated towards redefining strength in Hawaii and making it contagious.
Not only do we find strength through exercise and fitness, but we gain strength through our unique culture in Hawaii and creativity.
Our TKP Logo was designed for simplicity and effectiveness. The Kū Project followers, readers, athletes, and community requested us to create designs to share the message of The Kū Project and what it means to Be You, Be Kū.
We started with our logo placed right over our hearts and made the the fabric is light enough for any activity be it going out to a concert, heading to the beach, or training in the gym. We wanted you to be able to take strength with you everywhere you go.
When you watch a surfer head out to attack huge waves, a lifter get pumped up for a big lift, or an athlete prepare to run out onto the field, they always found touching their chest right at the heart.
Why?
Because it brings them strength and courage, it calls on their ancestors and ke akua to watch over and protect, and it makes them feel Kū.
